AMULUDUN WELCOMES MUSLIMS TO THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN.

As the crescent moon is sighted, I welcome all Muslims in Alimosho, Nigeria and across the world to the holy month of Ramadan.

The month Almighty Allah through his angel began revealing the verses of Quran to Prophet Mohammed (PBH). During this period, fasting is considered important and it constitutes one of the five pillars of Islam.

As we commence the Ramadan fast, I enjoin everyone to seek forgiveness from Allah, show love to others, and help one another especially the needy and the underprivileged.

Aside abstaining from food, Ramadan teaches us discipline,  moderation of lifestyles, purification and rightenousness.

It is a time of reflection for all Muslims to stay true to the teaching of the prophet and the command of Allah in the Quran. 

Every muslim is expected to continue to devote themselves to worship and prayer to Allah during this period.

May Almighty Allah bless you with happiness and grace your home with warm and peace through out this month.
