A former Legislative Aide and Personal Assistant in the National Assembly, AMULUDUN GBEMIGA has signified his intention to run for the seat of the House of Representatives – Alimosho Federal Constituency.
In a press statement issued on Thursday, April 19 and made available to our correspondent by Oloyede Femi Moses who is the Director – Digital Media and Publicity of the campaign organization.
“The Independent Campaign Group of Gbemiga Amuludun, one of the aspirants for the Legislative seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alimosho Federal Constituency has engaged the services of a Consortium of Legal Firms and Media Consultant in the pursuit of his ambition.”
” The aspirant is not leaving any stone unturned in legitimately achieving his goal in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Electoral Laws and the party (APC) constitution.”
According to Oloyede , his aspiration to contest for the Alimosho Federal House of representatives is borne out of the call by all and sundry why the youths should take active part in the political process.
When asked, if there is a rancour or rift between Hon. Amuludun and the incumbent who was his former boss,he quickly responded.
“Not at all, there is a good relationship between them and in a democracy everyone is free to contest”
The campaign organization however unveiled the professional bodies that will handle its campaign and other matters as relate to the electioneering.
On the legal side, the consortium of legal firms will be led by Granville Abibo (SAN) and Co. Counsel to the Supreme Court. Others include Ibrahim D. Midala, D.B Sunama & Co. and Ogbonda & Ogbonda.
They will provide legal advice to the aspirant and his campaign organizations.
The consortium will also handle all legal matters relating to Amuludun’s political ambition and legal matters that may arise before, during or after the election.
Similarly, a professional media consultant has also been engaged to handle all media activities. An Abuja based Media and PR Strategic Communications Firm – Analytical Perspectives Nig. Limited have been engaged to handle Strategic Communication and Public Relations.
The Campaign Organization has also officially released the Campaign logo and slogan for the aspirant. The iCG also explained that the vision, mission, core values and manifesto of the aspirant will be made available to the public soon.
The ICG stated that a formal declaration will be made by the aspirant after relevant consultations.
